Is the remaining battery power low?
Charge the battery by connecting the ScanSnap to the computer using a USB cable.
During battery charging, the battery indicator lights up in orange.
When battery charging is complete, the battery indicator lights up in blue.

The remaining battery power can be checked in the [Details] window of ScanSnap Home.
