Are the ScanSnap and the mobile device very close together?
Move the mobile device closer to the [Scan] button on the ScanSnap.
Keep the mobile device close to the ScanSnap while the mobile device's ScanSnap Home displays "Move your mobile device closer to the ScanSnap.".
[Android] Have you set up pairing?
If you receive a message asking if you want to pair the mobile device with the ScanSnap, respond to the message and pair the device.
If you did not notice the message, check the history of notifications on the mobile device for the message and pair the ScanSnap with the mobile device.
[iOS/Android] Is the mobile device connected to a Wi-Fi network name (SSID)?
If the mobile device is connected to a Wi-Fi network name (SSID), the ScanSnap Go connection may fail.
Perform either of the following and then move the mobile device closer to the ScanSnap again.
Switching the Wi-Fi frequency band that you use
Example: 5 GHz → 2.4 GHz, 2.4 GHz → 5 GHz
Disconnecting from the current Wi-Fi network
If automatic connection is turned on, turn it off.
Leave the mobile device's Wi-Fi turned on.
Has it been more than 5 minutes between connecting the ScanSnap to the mobile device and starting the scan?
When the mobile device is connected to the ScanSnap using ScanSnap Go, the connection will be automatically disconnected after 5 minutes of inactivity on the touch panel of the ScanSnap. Once the ScanSnap is connected to the mobile device, scan within 5 minutes.
If the connection between the ScanSnap and the mobile device is disconnected, move the mobile device closer to the ScanSnap again and reconnect it.
[Android] Is the Wi-Fi tethering function enabled on the mobile device?
If the Wi-Fi tethering function is enabled on the mobile device, you may be unable to connect using ScanSnap Go.
Disable the Wi-Fi tethering function, and then move the mobile device closer to the ScanSnap again.
