Is the region where ScanSnap accounts are not available selected for the region setting on the computer that you are using?
Even when you are in a region where ScanSnap accounts are available, if the region where ScanSnap accounts are not available is selected for the region setting on your computer, you cannot sign in to a ScanSnap account.
Change the region setting on your computer in the following procedure, and then sign in to a ScanSnap account.
Windows

Exit ScanSnap Home.

Change the region setting on the computer to the region that you selected when registering a ScanSnap account.

Sign in to a ScanSnap account.

Display the scan window of ScanSnap Home on the computer.

Select [Preferences] in the menu that appears when you click
at the top of the scan window to display the preferences window.

Select the [Account] tab and sign in by entering a ScanSnap account e-mail address and password in the fields under [ScanSnap account].

Exit ScanSnap Home.

Change the region setting on the computer to the region that you selected when registering a ScanSnap account.

Select [System Settings] from the Apple (
) menu to display the system settings window.

Select [Language & Region] from the list of [General] to display the [Language & Region] window.

Change the setting for [Region] to the region that you selected when registering a ScanSnap account.

Click
at the top of the window to close the system settings window, and then restart the computer.

Sign in to a ScanSnap account.

Display the scan window of ScanSnap Home on the computer.

Select [Preferences] in the menu that appears when you click
at the top of the scan window to display the preferences window.

Select the [Account] tab and sign in by entering a ScanSnap account e-mail address and password in the fields under [ScanSnap account].

Did you enter the ScanSnap account correctly?
ScanSnap accounts are case-sensitive.
Check that the ScanSnap account you entered is correct.
To sign in to a ScanSnap account with your social media account, click the [Sign in with Google], [Sign in with Microsoft], or [Sign in with Apple] button and enter the required information in the window that appears.
Is a message displayed, indicating that a ScanSnap account using the specified e-mail address already exists?
The e-mail address previously used to sign in with a ScanSnap account or social media account cannot be used as the e-mail address for signing in with a different account.
In the [Account] tab on the preferences window, sign in again with the ScanSnap account or social media account you previously used to sign in with.
