Did you set the language used in the document for the language setting in the scan settings?
Set the same language as the one used in the document instead of setting [Automatic] for the language setting in the scan settings in the following procedure:

Display the scan window of ScanSnap Home on the computer.

Select the profile that you are using from the profile list.

Click the [Edit profiles] button to display the [Edit profiles] window.

Click the [Detailed settings] button in [Scan settings] to display the [Detailed settings] window.

Select the [Title] tab and the [File name] tab, and set the same language as the one used in the document instead of setting [Automatic].
If you select a profile that has been configured to establish a link with a cloud service by using ScanSnap Cloud, select the [File format] tab instead of the [Title] tab and the [File name] tab, and set the same language as the one used for the document.

The saved image can be reconverted into a searchable PDF file.
